Ulam! Alam! Hamog!
Yesterday, when I came back from Batangas, and Cavite as well, I spend the whole afternoon sleeping. Then when I woke up at around 5pm, I just lie down on the bed, then got up to eat, then lie down again, then sleep again for the next day's work. I just felt so lazy. Feeling ko para akong baboy na pinapataba na malapit nang katayin! Maybe the reason was when I said that we can catch fish and crabs in Batangas, but, I got colds instead during the last night of stay, where we had dinner infront of a bonfire by the bay.(*sniff). It was a very very relaxing 4 days & 3 nights vacation, especially, one mid morning, i just lie down(and lie face down occasionally) by the bay, underneath a semi-cloud-covered sun, closed eyes partially waiting for the rain(because I heard there was a storm somewhere), feeling the fused heat of the sun and sand, mix with a cool breeze of air, and listen to the relaxing wave of water like a lullaby. Then, when I open my eyes, I had a red-blue-ish vision, look to the seemingly endless line where the sea and sky meet, inhale a deep fresh salty air, exhale, then ask myself, "Ano kayang masarap makain ngayon?!". Solve! Also, I did mention that we will be going to Lian, Batangas. But up until now, i'm still wondering how did i knew about the place, wherein, it was my first time to be there! The place that I was referring to before, was supposed to be La-Iya, Batangas. Demmet! Anyway, also during my stay, I spoke to this middle aged Batangeña, and told me about an old lady that she came across the other day, where she described her(wearing a "Batangeño Accent") as, "Aba e! ka-nuknukan rin pal-a ng bingi yu-on!" and continued with the story. As she pass by this old lady, as a courtesy, she excuses herself and said(still in "Batangeño Accent"), "..'Nay! Makikira-an 'pow!..". But, she was shocked as the old lady replied to her(with ofcourse, "Batangeño Accent"), "Wala kaming ulam!".
